| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was identified in TP-Link Tapo C520WS v2.6 within the asynchronous parsing of local video stream content due to
insufficient alignment and validation of buffer boundaries when processing streaming inputs.An attacker
on the same network segment could trigger heap memory corruption conditions by
sending crafted payloads that cause write operations beyond allocated buffer
boundaries. Successful exploitation
causes a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition, causing the device’s process to
crash or become unresponsive. |

| XML::Parser versions through 2.47 for Perl has an off-by-one heap buffer overflow in st_serial_stack.
In the case (stackptr == stacksize - 1), the stack will NOT be expanded. Then the new value will be written at location (++stackptr), which equals stacksize and therefore falls just outside the allocated buffer.

| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.24.2, in resize_vbar_entry() in libfreerdp/codec/clear.c, vBarEntry->size is updated to vBarEntry->count before the winpr_aligned_recalloc() call. If realloc fails, size is inflated while pixels still points to the old, smaller buffer. On a subsequent call where count <= size (the inflated value), realloc is skipped. The caller then writes count * bpp bytes of attacker-controlled pixel data into the undersized buffer, causing a heap buffer overflow. This issue has been patched in version 3.24.2. |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. An authenticated user can crash MariaDB versions 11.4 before 11.4.10 and 11.8 before 11.8.6 via a bug in JSON_SCHEMA_VALID() function. Under certain conditions it might be possible to turn the crash into a remote code execution. These conditions require tight control over memory layout which is generally only attainable in a lab environment. This issue is fixed in MariaDB 11.4.10, MariaDB 11.8.6, and MariaDB 12.2.2. |

Prior to version 3.24.2, in yuv_ensure_buffer() in libfreerdp/codec/h264.c, h264->width and h264->height are updated before the reallocation loop. If any winpr_aligned_recalloc() call fails, the function returns FALSE but width/height are already inflated. This issue has been patched in version 3.24.2. |
